Oh. It's you.
It's been a long time.

It has indeed been a life since I last posted anything, even a comment on someone's submission. This journal is not to say that I'm back to being regularly active here, but it's more of simply a regular journal entry in the traditional sense--a documenting of my thoughts at the moment.

As stated, it was a life ago that I posted, which means that I'm living a new life now. I tried this once before, to hit the reset switch and create something of myself, but that ended up failing because of my own faults, and unfortunately because of some things I foresaw that came to be true, as much as the people of subject assured me that it wouldn't come true.

So here I am, a new person, a new view of life, and a new name (not a new username until I get enough points or a one-month subscription to make the change, if I don't create a new account altogether, but I'd rather just keep this one so that the submissions I have can still be accessed.).

It's not necessary that I explain what has changed; it's only important that we all understand that we all change. Never from one moment to the next are we the same person as before. We are alive, and therefore we are dynamic.

To summarize the changes, I believe that I have aligned more with the me that I am at the soul; the me that I was was not in alignment with the me who needs to be manifested into this shared reality that we all experience.

Mistakes in life have been made. Ambitions have formed. And both of those must be learning experiences. We must question the world around us, asking why this is this, why that is that, why these people want me to live like this, or why those people are happier than others. And we need to not only find, but create that which makes us feel most at peace with ourselves, as individuals, and in relation to one another.

I simply wasn't living that the last time I was active here. But I now recognize the things I need to learn, and the paths which hold the things I need to learn that I've yet to fathom. And I will walk those paths to learn what I can to live in peace in this world, for myself, and for others.

Oddly enough, it was around the restart of the Mayan calendar that all of this seemed to begin. It was within days, at most, of December 21st that something within me shifted; that my sealed mind had cracked enough that something in the greater reality could find its way in. And since then, I believe I have consciously opened and expanded to a much greater understanding of creation and the universe around me. It was an awakening which is still happening today. Perhaps not enlightened, but my eyes are open, and I have had a rebirth into a new life that, although it isn't filled with the luxuries that we're conditioned to think that we all should have, is far greater than I had ever imagined. Troubles exist, no doubt; but I see the world vastly different than I did before.

This account may still not be very active, but there will hopefully be more variety in the art and content posted here in the future.

Also, I'll be studying in Hirosaki, Japan for ten months, beginning in September, probably landing in Tokyo on the 22nd (my physical birthday) to get hammered with sushi, sake, and all the non-American food I can eat because they have a magical thing in Japan that isn't found in the US, called "flavor."

If you're in the area between September and late June, let me know.

Love and life, everyone!

:iconNeriah tagged me so that I have to update my journal for the first time in 30 years. :x Soooo yada yada, I'll make a  big marker that gets to the facts.

Rules:

1. You must posts these rules.
2. Each person has to share 10 5 things about themselves.
3. Answer the 10 questions asked to you and invent 10 questions the persons you tag will have to answer.
4. Choose 10 people and put their icons on your journal.
5. Go to their page to inform them they are tagged, but not something like " you are tagged if you read that". Go to their page and lurk in their Visitors Widget like a hulking creepazoid until they get the hint.
7. You have to tag 10 people

Five Facts:

1. I am by no means a US patriot, and I think that this country should be run by other countries that are doing better than we are: UK, Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, Canada, etc. We suck, and I hate this place. x.x

2. I am in a transition in my life to look like a macho femboy and to sell most of my stuff for a minimalist lifestyle.

3. I prefer Intel and NVidia to AMD and Radeon.

4. I'm single because I care more about computer parts, video games, and puppies. If I had a girlfriend, she'd probably be very sexy.

5. I have undergone another name-change offline because the events of seven years ago in my social life are repeating, and I must escape my offline tethers. The name-change will take full effect come Summer, and I will introduce myself as "Zizi, with two I's."

Neriah's Questions:

1. Of all your deviations, which is your personal favorite and why?
"The Reality of Bioshock's Rapture." Though there are some major engineering issues, I think it's so freaking important not to say "That's impossible," but to ask, "How can this be possible?" When we say that something is impossible, we prevent ourselves from ever trying--from ever succeeding. When we  ask how something can be possible, we start to think creatively, and come up with abstract solutions to abstract concepts, making the impossible ordinary.

2. Are you pursuing your dream right now, academically or professionally?
Yes. I'm taking some business classes in this crappy town so that I'll be able to rush straight into a Business Information Systems major with a Japanese Studies minor at another uni, work my way into a business in the Seattle area, use their money to establish a home in Japan, and escape the US before it hits bottom.

3. What would be a scenario that played out in one of your more recent role plays?
My face landed on some fuzzy bewbs. X3

4. What's a typical breakfast for you?
Cereal, berries, nutrition bar.

5. Do you have any artists in particular that you draw inspiration from?
:iconjyoujo shows beautiful pictures of that sacred land to the east. It's not so much that I'm inspired to take pictures, but I'm inspired to go there and see such places without a camera lens.

6. What's your favorite game of all time?
Journey. If you have a PS3/4, download it. If you don't know what it is, don't research it. Just buy it ($15). It takes about two hours to play, and it makes me almost cry every time I play it. My skin tingles, my recently-shaven armfuzz stands on end every time I reach the final ascent. My heart pounds when I'm hiding from certain terrible things. *tingles right now, just talking about it*

7. Of all your characters, which one do you currently enjoy role playing most?
Powertrip. He's smart, technologically advanced, clever, well-financed by his enemies, he has an amazing suit, and he controls lightning with higher voltages than what Storm could produce. He has good intentions, but he's vicious when someone gets in his way.

8. Are you currently active in any particular DA group? Which ones?
No.

9. What's your favorite disney character?
The ones who are dead. I used to work for that company, so I would be overjoyed to see that the company has fallen.
If I must pick one that exists, Kirakakash. That movie had fantasy,  cleavage, mystic ruins, a character with my name, advanced steampunk tech, douchebags who were proven wrong, douchebags who got what was coming to them, a hot girl with sexy hair, people who quickly learned how to drive, and more.

10. Do you find doge annoying or funny?
It has its places.

I tag the first five people who read this.
1. Console or PC?

2. Windows Phone, android, or ios?

3. One superpower.

4. What would your crime be if you could be exempt from one thing, including all actions related to the one crime?

5. Would you make out with yourself if you were the opposite gender, and it weren't incestuous?

6. Would you make out with me of either gender?

7. Worst thing about the US government or citizens, no-holds. Knock yourself out. Stereotypes, actual behaviors, widespread stupid ideas, etc. What stupidity is in the US according to you?

8. Have you ever imagined what it would be like if cats were as big to us as we are to cats, and we were their pets instead?

9. Who would your voodoo doll represent, if voodoo were true?

10. You have whichever weapon you want in your hand. Who do you want in front of you, dragging and groaning as a zombie?

2. The two colors that you are in my mind.
3. A song that reminds me of you.
4. The last thing I did related to you in some way.
5. What I tend to call you and say about you when I talk about you to people in Real Life.
6. An animal I think fits you.
7. Something I've been wanting to tell you.

Feline invasion

1 min read
So when I turn on Zulumina, I check DA for messages, the DD section for the day, and a few other things. I noticed that there are about 50 DDs that include cats, and I'm just curious. Did I miss something about today that has to do with cats? Is it today when they seceded from Egypt, or maybe they left the jungles and plains so they could trick humans into treating them like the ultimate race?

Someone throw me a bone here! Not a fish bone, please.

So yeah, as you nerds know, the Nintendo 3DS came out recently in the US (March 27). And as a nerd, I was at the midnight launch at a local gaming store to pick up my own system and trade in my DSi XL for that significant bit of credit towards buying my own.

Nintendo really seemed to shake the consumer electronic world with the claim of having a system that could do 3D gaming, pictures, and even video without the use of glasses, and since I've been playing, they've come as close to mastering the 3D technology as we can get with today's advances! The graphics are beautiful, especially for a handheld device. The controls are nice, especially since they added the circular thumb pad. I'm very pleased that they added in the wi-fi switch like they had on the DS Lite, but skipped on the DSi systems, but unlike the others, the 3DS doesn't have a built-in alarm feature. :/  Ah well.

In case you're wondering, the system is everything it was said to be. $250 is a bit of a tag for a handheld, but dang, this thing is worth the money--disregarding that with my DSi XL trade-in, it was $150. That price gets the system, a 2GB SD card, a charging cradle, and 6 AR cards that can work even on a computer screen (I've searched google images for the AR cards and pointed the DS at my screen, and lo, 3D models are produced on top of the image of the card!), and bundles of software that I'm still discovering, even though I've been looking up the 3DS for the last five months!

Now, please excuse me if I seem to be bragging that I have one. In all honesty, the fact that I have one is significantly miniscule compared to my astonishment and pride that this technology now exists in the consumer market--3D gaming/imagery/videos without the use of glasses. When I first heard of 3D HDTVs, I thought it was neat, and then I saw that they require glasses in order to see the 3D. That really lowered my spirits and made me feel as though the whole 3D movement was being pushed much further than it should've been. If 3D can't be viewed by the normal eyes, leave it to comic strips and those red/green glasses, or include it with a new-release movie at the theaters. Don't offer it to consumers and force them to see it only by certain conditions.

Nintendo, you leaders of tomorrow, you've done something grand. This is certainly, in my opinion, one of the greatest electronic devices manufactured within the realm of tablets, laptops, and anything of modern day that uses a screen to display images.

If you're a Sony fan, enjoy the PSPwhatever that's coming out. It looks like it has some great stuff on it, but if you want to feel like you're actually inside the games you play (yes, inside them), go for the 3DS. I currently have Super Street Fighter IV, and when I see a fight in 3D, even though the screen is physically the same size, it truly feels like I'm looking at the same world that the characters are seeing, from their world.

A revolution is here, people, and it can be carried in your pocket.
